Student Leadership Training

Peer-to-peer engagement is an absolute solution to social change, and effective with students in high school where peer pressure is high. Jumuisha Initiative structured a student leaders training to facilitate the student leaders with effective leadership, conflict resolution and personal development.

The student leadership was done in Kitondo school, Makueni County. Since then, indiscipline in the learning institutions has been controlled. We trained 34 student leaders in Kitondo school who adversely controlled the occurrence of strikes in the learning institution.

Much appreciation to the school administration for taking the action to allow student leadership to be trained and contribute to the communities’ social change.
