The Plastics Revolution – Dirt4Art

Over the years, we have learnt to solve socioeconomic issues in our own way, at our own capacity. This has helped us make impact in the community we engage as well as contribute to the global UN #SDG13 Sustainable climate action

 

Plastics are hazardous to the environment and its management is called for Jumuisha Initative is running a plastic revolution campaign to champion for proper plastic disposal, as well as creating art from dirt. This project targets young boys and girls in high school, tertiary institutions as well as those in the community.

 

This quarter in 2022, we lead the plastics revolution as an economic empowerment initiative for young girls and women in the community. The program will entail advocating for a clean environment. as an alternative, we emphasized on plastics recycling into pieces of art.
