Social Growth at School

Makongo Primary school is one of our partner learning institutions based in Kaiti, Makueni County.

In addition to the progressive mentorship done in the school, Jumuisha Initiative conducts motivational talks and encouragement to learners in the institution.

Among issues that we discuss with the learners is;

• Academic excellence.
• SGBV and prevention
• Boosting self esteem
• Drugs and substance Abuse
• SRHR

Social influence in the community to some extend dictate values of learners. This translates to behaviour such as drug abuse, sexual gender based violence, low self esteem, and low academic performance. This led to social growth in school program that is preventive in nature and allows dissemination of related information in the community.
